Spring always comes to remind us that no winter lasts forever. Did you know that the City of Kitchener is recognized as a ‘Bee City’? The city is working hard to create and maintain pollinator habitats and we should too! Whether you live in an urban setting with a balcony or window ledge or live in the country with space to have a backyard garden, one cannot understate the importance that plants play in our region! Not only for our little pollinator friends but for our own health as well. Small steps is how it all starts.
The spring box theme is encouraging you to get out and flex that green thumb of yours. Plant a beautiful, and pollinator friendly, flower in a one of a kind planter, get insight (and access!) to cool events taking place in the region, and be reminded of all the beauty that spring makes way for.
